Naveen Patnaik the honourable CM of Orissa still known by his father name Biju Patnaik has been ruling the state for two terms. He is been rated high on the survey conducted by the media poll he was the second best or popular CM after Nitish Kumar. But I am really finding hard to believe that how can he be so popular he hasn’t done much development work his policies are not exceptional. He is not even good in controling his own house and party. He is the only CM in India who does not know his mother tongue and still after 6 years as orissa’s CM he is finding it hard to learn Oriya. Whereas Alvira (Abantika) a Russain devotee of Lord jagarnath has learned Oriya in just six months and is now preaching and enchanting slokas in Oriya that is a real shame to all of us who do not respect our mother tongue. But the reason I think made him popular is a lack of a strong opposition leader. Now if the people of Orissa have to select someone else it would be J B Patnaik of Congress who is well known is the state for his corruption and lack of people friendly projects. Thus this automatically puts him as the favourite for the Cm’s post. Naveen please do not take the people of Orissa for granted and change your way of functioning be active and please please please bring some good projects to Orissa. Please make sure we get the Mital’s steel plant project, get some major IT giants. Please take a lesson from your neighbour Andhra Pradesh Cm and Karnataka CM as they are working overtime to get big companies to invest in their state so that their state could develop. When big companies come it not only gives us job oppurtunity but also they get involved in various social and development projects for the local community. Mr CM please respect the people mandate and do some people friendly projects for Orissa and make the people of Orissa proud. I truly believe Orissa has the potential to be one of the developed states like Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala. To add to this the recent controverys where Naveen Patnaik has come under suspicion in the wake of the video CD that apparently shows Dilip Singh Judeo accepting cash to facilitate mining deals. The CD shows Natwar Rateria, the personal assistant of the Union minister of state for environment who resigned today, as saying Patnaik can be persuaded to do anything.
Rateria tells Rahul, the representative of an Australia-based company seeking the deals that “Orissa mein… apna kaafi command hai… Nau hazaar crore ki relief Naveen Patnaik ko apne mantralay ke project se… uss se kuch bhi karva sakte hain. Main yeh keh sakta hoon, Orissa government… thodi hi der bahar hai (We have good influence in Orissa. Our ministry gave the Naveen Patnaik government relief worth Rs 9,000 crore. We can make him do anything. Let me tell you Orissa government… is out of the ambit only for a while),”. he also said “Orissa mein tasalli banaon. Jo chahenge voh hoga. Chunaav nipat jaaye, Dilli mein Patnaik ke saath baith ke apni saari consultants bulva lena (Rest assured about Orissa. Whatever we want will happen. Just let the elections get over. Then we will sit with Patnaik in Delhi and you can call all your consultants),”. When Rahul said “Usko (apparently Patnaik) thoda sa milke… apan ko thoda kaam aage badhana hain… (I need to meet him to move my work forward).” Rateria answers that “Aapko agar vahan koi kaam aage badhana hai, toh hum forward kar dete hain CM house mein. Aap unse jaake milo. Aapko voh poori tavajjo denge (If you want to get some work done there, we will forward the plea to the CM’s house. You go and meet him. He will give you a proper hearing).” “Meri baat suno. Orissa ke mamle mein agar aap kisi ko bhi bhejoge Vikram Singh (Judeo’s officer on special duty) ke paas, voh 100-point verified hoga (Listen to me, if you send someone to Vikram Singh on the Orissa matter, it will be verified 100-point).”. The opposition congress has asked for a CBI inquiry to the PM only time will tell the real truth but to make things worse even his party MLA’s feel that the government was showing undue favour to the Jindals in mining at Tangarpada in Dhenkanal district. Mr CM can you please clarify this to the people of Orissa.

I dont believe you actually believe in what you wrote… What makes you think you know what Orissa wants… You only know what you want… Talk of your own development…

indianpolitics its a worst article..
You only say your point of view . You never wants to see good man in politics. Naveen Patnaik is a well educated person and gentle in behaviour who doesnt go to nasty politics. According to project and performance he has done best as orissa CM. In terms of state finance matter you see its a great uplift though no support from centre. Not involved in Caste and religion politics. Always takes fast acction againt corrupted leaders and officers.

3 month ago naveen pattnaik was my idol but now i think he is the worst chief minister of orissa political history who made EDUCATION as a bussines for rich people.not only in higher education also in secondary and primary education he and his group of minister is like a curse on our education system.he does not deserve to remain chief minister any more… .i’m really dissapointed,he was my hero….

Knowing Oriya and then Speaking all the time in English everywhere and operating iefficiently, with back-stabbing, corrupt politics is perhaps what we have been seen since long.
Here is a man, who is busy in adminsitering, managing, removing corruption and bringing back something really good. He does not know Oriya, but is a Oriya by heart…It is not easy to leave a good affluent life to enter into the dirty muds of politics easily. He operates in a truley management style. Give him support, please do not pull his leg…

This article writer seems to be very ignorant about what Naveen Patnaik has done for Orissa. He is a highly educated man, having studied in Doon School, Delhi University, and in the USA. As majority of the respondents have pointed out here, he has a mission – to make Orissa a prosperous state. He has been able to get Rs 5,00,000 crores worth of investment ot Orissa. The MoUs signed for various steel and aluminium projects signed so far amount to this. This could lead to another Rs 5,00, 000 crores of investments in terms real estate, roads, educational institutions, hotels etc. This could solve the problem of poverty and unemployment in Orissa. Infact for the samew reason Orissa has been awarded the “fastest progessing state” award this year by president Kalam (before his term ended). Time has come for every Oriya to be proud to be an Oriya.
Naveen Patnaik is a self less man bent upon developing Orissa. Please support him.
October 21, 2007 at 6:06 pm
i know him personally. and if u been to orissa even once in different time frames, u will realize how much his government has done.
November 5, 2007 at 4:06 pm
I feel Mr writer of this article mighthave been prompted from J.B pattnaik to make false propaganda about the CM. During Jb’s time curroption was at highest point, financial condition of the state was very bad, which has been tremendusly revived. Political leaders of the other states have respect for Naveen. People of other state praise him a lot for his sincere effort to make the state developed. Only the mean congress men are afraid of his popularity, therefore they are desparate to defame him.
November 12, 2007 at 6:51 am
I am shocked to read such an article about our beloved chief minister who has done so much for the state. JB knows oriya very well so you think he is better than naveen just bcoz he can speak oriya?? I think he is the only selfless and uncorrupt leader in politics. You should feel proud that we have a leader like him in our state.
November 26, 2007 at 10:23 pm
Hello Everyone
This is Srigopal Padhi from Bombay. I read all the comments by each one of you and found it really interesting. As far as Naveen Patnaik is concerned I feel he is one of the best Chief Ministers Orissa has ever had not that I have seen the functioning of any other CM ( I did not even know how to spell Politics when J.B. Patnaik was the CM) but I have seen how Orissa has changed over the period of time but what I feel Naveen lacks is a strong team. “Naveen might be the face of the crowd but he aint the crowd.” I strongly feel Orissa needs a second level of leaders who would catapult it to new heights. We need to work on Infrastructure with a vision for the next 40 years and not 4. People still do not know there is a state called Orissa. Cyclone and Puri are the two most famous incident and place in Orissa.
We Oriyas do not lend a helping hand to each other. We try to back stab and pull any Oriya if he is climbing the ladder of success. There needs to be a change in the attitude and thought process of each and every Oriya..
I know this is neither the place or time to discuss such grave issues regarding politics and policies..
May we Oriyas regain the glory of Kalinga may we trade with Bali as we did in the past (US, Europe, APAC). I have a project and a dream for Orissa. Please let me know if you have similar aspirations..
Regards
Gopal

mr.Naveen pattanaik is a good chief minister of orissa.orissa now proud of india and oversiss……:
February 23, 2008 at 3:48 pm
Orissa reforms itself only because of naveen pattnaik.
February 28, 2008 at 1:38 pm
I think Mr Naveen Pattnaik is the best CM and also best person.I am proud of him and I respect for his good and progressive work for orissa.Today Orissa is a good state only for his hard work and good administration.
April 30, 2008 at 5:03 am
Orissa was formed on a linguistic basis. Oriys language is the raison d etre for Orissa.Naveen Patnaik has contempt for Oriya and hence he has not learnt it. Thus , his continuance in office as CM of Orissa is unethical. Only fools expect much from unethical people. All projects signed till now are capital-intensive minerals based projects. Did Naveen Pattnaik produce the minerals? It is a natural advantage. Being capital-intensive , the projects will not contribute much to Orissa GSDP.What has Mr. Naveen Patnaik done to improve farming? The Congress has disrespected Oriyas,Orissa and Oriya for last 4 decades. That doesnot make Naveen Pattnaik a good CM , only a better one
April 30, 2008 at 6:22 pm
Things cannot be changed in a day. Naveen Patnaik came to politics 8-10 yrs back and i see lot of things happening in Odisa now a days. One thing i liked is his stand against corruption…is there anyone else in indian politics?? I dont say he is the ultimate leader..but dont see any one who can be compared with him and who can stand beside him. He is trying to recover Odissa ..lets support him.
May 3, 2008 at 7:59 pm
Hi……nice talks….OK……Some of us are not happy with Mr. Naveen Patnaik………Like Sanket told that he is not producing minerals…….but my friend utilising them. In past 50 years nobody thinks even to use it… And you are thinking that the GSP of Orissa will not be improved…..It is very surprising….. Company’s like Mittal, POSCO, Tata and IOCL are interested to go for industries in India…..If you will see the number of IT industries in Orissa in last 10 years you will be happy. In next 3-5 years Wipro, IBM, Mindtree etc. are also coming 2 Bhubaneswar. Orissa got some national prestigeous institute in the stream of Science, Medical and Engineering..Orissa is also going to get an IIT. But Orissa gov. is not getting enough help from Centre..That is the biggest problem.
planningcommission.nic.in/plans/planrel/52ndc/Orissa.pdf
Go throug the above link and know a little about his planning…….If somebody is oing good for our state we should support him yaar….

Can we expect miracle in 8 years ? Our past leaders lead the state for fifty years or so . What development took place during these years ? It was corruption, nepotism and maladministration nothing else. People in the state are not fool now. They are gradully realising the condition of the state. The present CM is in the right direction. Every thing will be possible if corruption checks. The people has to cooperate the CM in long term. The people in the administration at Blocks,Tahasils,Districts ,Heads of the departments and even in the Secretariat have to realise the value of corruption-free life. They should refrain from collecting speed money or bribes. We people are shouting that we are underdeveloped but incline to play a role.Moral education is need of the hour not for the children but for the ELDERS in administration. Now the State of Orissa is in SAFE hands.

I think mr pattnaik is far better than .. these congress CM before esp. JB pattnaik..what big deal if he does not oriya..you need to work for lower level people in orissa..hats up to Mr. CM..keep going ….
August 6, 2008 at 3:42 am
who the hell are you mr indianpolitics !!! how come you say such dirty things about our cm !!! who the hell are you to question if he’s over-rated or under-rated as a cm, see the public response to your fucking blog… never ever try these stupid things on internet, and don’t think of taking undue advantage of throwing stones to stars, as all and sundry know they won’t reach…. blogging is free in india, some rules and restrictions are to be made, that will mandate these kind of silly people think before writing anything of anyone in their blogs… for your kind info, Mr Navven Pattnaik is, and will be even our fav CM ever… and never think you are only aware of all those issues you tried to preach out.. indian public is very much political and all are quite aware of them… still they know, the person is very humble by nature, has truely some intension to do something for orissa….(not necessarily one must know oriya for that… language learning skill is a total inner intelectuality, which declines as age grows, and has different standards for different people… it’s got nothing to do with the love for orissa man…) and you fucking asshole, never try to do this ever in times to come… a warning from the people of orissa…
August 9, 2008 at 7:04 pm
if orissa had not been in naveen patnaik’s hands..it wud hav turned into hotbed of corruption and criminal activities.jb patnaik govt pulled orissa from the heights that biju patnaik had brought orissa to…the faith n support of the people of orissa lies with naveen patnaik wholeheartedly no doubt.n one thing i would like to state..its pathetic to note that there r stil narrow-minded people put the his so-called language prob before his good intentions.but yes..the governace has been poor.but its largely due to the neglect of the centre…and the fitin within the ruling party itself and to add to the chaos are alwayz present the congress with their conchshells and drumz.its disgustin to note that..there are only a handful of people who r truely interested in orissa’s development and hundreds and thousands to take it bak to where it was 50 years bak.but naveen babu reli has to work hard in his third term to ensure orissa’s development. naxalites and industrial growth are the core areas he has to work out on.or else if he stil fails to b upto the task, there wil rise questions even from his most ardent admirers.it wouldnt b rong to say that naxalites hav a far more organized governance than our govt itself. 8 years of governance and stil naveen babu hasnt stil been able to achieve even 10% of what his father did…..but its true too that the conditions are very different too.even biju babu was disgusted with the cheap politics goin on durin and after his last term as cm. people ……. lets not place our blind faith on naveen babu…lets support him and make him realise his core concerns, people’s prob from the people and the responsibility of the millions of oriya people’s lives that lie in his hands.lets create a political renaissance in orissa and take our govt into our own hands under the wings of naveen babu.its our time to create an impact

there is no confusing about naveen pattnaik chief ministership. in naveen pattnaik’s chief minister period orissa’s people growth are very well. he is 100 % doing good jod for orissa’s people. he is high educated. he knows very well about orissa’s situation. already congress govt. rulled in orissa above 40 years. orissa people have been seen how is congress govt. if orissa people wants to see strong orissa. please give chance to naveen pattnaik. he will good serve to orissa’s people.

Looks like he is not in control of the state.. may be he is educated and doing all good for orissa.. Now because of his inaction India is getting scrutanised for religious terrorism.. May be orrissa will loose some of the investments they have got already.
I’m talking about the attack on the christians. Seems to be there is no end for that.
Request your CM to act, act, act tough to bring back the law and order? Who is responsible for the lost lives?? Religion you can change if you want, but can the CM give back the lost lives??
October 16, 2008 at 11:42 am
Hi.
Mr Naveen Pattnaik is our cm. I like his rules over orissa.
He is Not only a greate ruler also a man of honour. After Mr. Bijupattnaik he is one man to take orissa in a right way.
My all respect for him.

I love My Orissa.
October 30, 2008 at 2:01 pm
Hi everybody
Its a reply to nv.
It it is only in orissa, Thats why the violence is greatly under control. laxmanananda was not a mere VHP leader in that locality, even very few people know him as a VHP leader, He was a highly revered saint not only in that area but also in Orissa. Do you think people would have clapped after his murder !!! Don’t go with the national media who kept silence for two days after the saint was killed but made it a head line when the after-math took place. Naveenji has taken clear stand in the whole event, He is truely secular, not a pseudosecular believing in minority apeesement unlike the media or the central politicians (congress n others)
November 1, 2008 at 8:38 am
hi freinds knowing oriya not a matter, butif he knows oriya it will be better. nevven patnaik is only cm of orissa who can orissa to new height . the other CM are just playing nasty politics except biju pattnaik. during 1960’s when biju babu was our CM some plant like industrilaisation occur like RSP PPL PPP nalco and many other but after him nothing else. i belive navven pattanik can only lead orissa not to be the leader but to be the devloper of orissa
no one cant be the best then naven
December 2, 2008 at 8:38 am
In my point of view our prsent cm should follow the performance achived by Biju Babu for which lakhs of pepole got employment in steel plant. So i request our CM Sir to devlop economic status, to create employment, to encourage farmers to cultivte in modern system and to hepl them. I am so sad that every year lakhs of pepople of our state are running out of orissa for job. If we would have huge organisation then our people could employ in Orissa itself. Near abour 40% of our villagers are leaving our of our state as a result its too difficult to get a daily labour in Orissa.
December 18, 2008 at 2:02 pm
I am a good fan of MR Nabin Pattanaik. We need Pattanaik to be continue as a CM for Orissa, If he will take another 10 years chance ,Orissa will be NO. 1 in india.
January 31, 2009 at 8:22 am
Hi All
Mr. Navin Patnaik is a best leader of Orrisa even if he does not know Oriya. I am working in Dubai and woould like to inform you many people from Orrisa work in top position. However if they see any oriya person they talk Hindi or English. They don’t like Oriya. Why so?
Also I would like to inform you all that Alvira (Abantika) a Russain devotee has sufficient time to read oriya, learn oriya and she only puts here concentration in that because she has time to do that where as CM has not time for that.
I really apprecit Mr. Navin Patnaik as CM of Orissa.
Thanks all.
February 10, 2009 at 9:23 pm
i think the person who has written the note regarding
Mr. Naveen Patnaik has been paid by the congress to do so else he is not an oriya.
February 16, 2009 at 6:25 am
Recenty I visited orissa, where I got a chance to travel some rural areas. I found 3 things which are significantly improved. 1. Rural Education 2. Rural transport 3. Rural Health care. first and third by state policies and second by “pradhanmantri gram sadak yojna” started by Atal ji. The school which I visited had a newly constructed hostel, which was home to 80 tribal girls. they were provided free education. free food, free clothes etc. Regarding heathcare, for every 2000 people there is one healthcare center with one MBBS and one assistant. Similarty for every block there is one community health center with 24/7 gynicologist/orthopedics/medicine specialist available along with 3 ambulances for child delivery of rural women.
I am impressed, which this firsthand experience, which i dont think the blogger has.

Hi
it is good to see all response about orissa CM. Lets share my feeling on this. AS per me , No Doubt CM is having clear image and good human being. He has brought from ‘worst situation’ at JB Pattanaik time to ‘under control situation ‘ now. in this he has shown few achievement and good control on his poltical career. But Question is ARE WE HAPPY ON THIS ? ARE WE HAPPY WHERE ORISSA IS STANDING TODAY COMPARING TO OTHER GOOD STATE IN INDIA ?
Few years before CM was listed in media and got reconsied because he was the one cM who is plannin to bring multi crore project to orissa…but now in practical nothing has happend. Not a good big IT or Non IT project is operating in ground level.OFcourse opoosition will paly dirty game and will protest but this is CM capability to overcome this issue and make industry without compromising …
He should create enough job opportunity and keeping ORISSA talent inside orissa. Today LAkhs of good people are moving to different state for job and not doing any contibution towards to orissa.
CRIME rate has gone up because non oriya people in college and hindu extremist, naxalite … So state administrative has todo good focus and improvement ..so that statistical rating will show how orissa is .
EVen health sector, Doctor -pataint relationship is not goos so far..
So all these things you can not solve by dictatorship ..You need to convince opposition and people and should do the project. IT is not “if poeple protest… then no project.. IF doctor stike .. No talk…suspend them… In this way finally project wont be complete. IF objective is we require something like good project ..good work ..we need to discuss with every body and create win win situation ..handly poltically, diplomatically or forcefully but end we should complete the project and win people’s heart.

just tell me dear…
how many iit are opened in the time of congress region in orissa.
see the devlopment. count the company, count the colleges..
then made a comparision list of the previous cm …
aftre count then you have the right to write this article..
..
yes, there is some kind of corruption in orissa. but, it is too less in compare with previous.
A well educated , well behaved, excellent personality… that what our CM naveen pattnaik is…

Navin is Navin…… You walk the streets of Bhubaneswar….Cuttack ……..Jarshuguda…. You will know what changes have taken place in the last 4 years. People in kendrapara have six lane express highway…. Raod allover orissa has never seen what it is now…. And bus service you could have imagined 4 years back….. I think u are a congress party worker… who cant see all these because u are blind for power.
March 13, 2009 at 7:26 pm
Everything’s said that has to be told; now consider these:
* Naveen doesn’t speak native lingo.
-> His actions are speaking softly and convincingly in to the hearts and minds of Oriya people. What advantage would the common man have if a scoundrel spoke native language with his foul mouth yet did not mean what he spoke.
* Rice @ Rs. 2/- to the poor.
-> The gimmick is that, he also advertised a toll free no. to register any anomaly in distribution system and himself monitored it.
* Unable to control flood.
-> Who did. At least people saw govt. machinary reaching to people with relief for the first time in real.
* Corruption continues
-> At least officials (and other ministers) have started to fear doing what they were used to.
* In the name of industry, finance and commerce.
-> He never made frequent visits to New Delhi or New york at public expence. Rather he made tycoons like Mittal and Ambani visit his office and negotiate his terms.
* He is not efficient.
-> Who was? I’m sure he is not as efficient as he is, only because he is still sourrounded by scoundrels and brokers. Wait till he gets rid of most of them.
I have no political affiliation. Basically I’m apolitical. I’m writing as a commoner. I don’t fully endorse Naveen govt. yet I reject all previous govts of last 30 years to even stand any comparision.
Naveenji – ‘good going’! YOU can make it great going this time round.
March 19, 2009 at 8:31 am
Who told you that Naveen Pattnaik is a worst chief minister? Is it necessary to know the local language? Naveen pattnaik is a talented person. I think in politics he is the best politician i have everseen. For the devlopment of orissa he is doing at his best. So don’t blame him.
I request to everyone of orissa please vote for Naveen Pattnaik only he can make orissa as newyork..
April 8, 2009 at 9:22 pm
what the hell!!!! i was in bhubaneswar for the last 10 years and i have seen it change from a red soil city to a green city with wider roads. Its much cleaner than other cities and all these is due to the Mr. Naveen patnaik. I agree with the above comment that if voted to power again he would surely make it more like newyork as he has done before…those who don’t agree with this then i would say you are losers because you want the same corrupt officials to rule over you….every minister in india is connected to corruption in one way or other but their has been no such instance with Mr. Naveen Patnaik…hail orissa…

Respected sir,
I have reviewed all the aspects that u have lightened towards sj. Naveen Patnaik and the only thing that came to my mind is what u have written about him is just the opposite that is happening here.In orrisa what had changed in past 9 years that only knows the citizens of orrisa.some of the points that i want to mention here that u have not done is-
Naveen patnaik
. has withdrawn the basic SEZ’s projects for the betterment of the farmers.
.has provided better job opportunities by signing more than 100 mou’s.
.has improved the roads and transport facilities that come under state provinces(not NH’s).
.has improved primary education a lot.
.has also provided better scope for higher education in orrisa eg.NISER,IIT Bhubaneswar, etc.without being its former alliance government in center.
.has suspended many officers during his period due to their involvements towards indiscipline and corruptness.
and many more………….
so,with respect to his mother tongue,in present world and present the youth mass does not considered it at all in comparison to his behavior and his frame towards the society and people.
so,please make some right judgments for a person before making it open towards the peoples, because every body needs your opinion to whom they will vote before elections.

i still didn’t get hold of it …i mean in one perspective u r saying that he did something valuable for the state but on the other hand u r also putting a question mark on my views…bhubaneswar is my home town and i have seen much of it growing in the past couple of years..although now i am in new york for the last 11 months but still i believe my town is developing fast enough…so i guess i am sending the right words to the people so that they can vote for a government which would bring development and prosperity unlike the BJP ones who create communal riots and make a whole lot of nuisance out there…

Naveen Patnaik is one of the best CMs India has seen. Now he is the best CM in India. Politics is a game of power and money for most but not for Naveen Patnaik. He has done great things for Odisha and still continuing. Compare Odisha before 10years and Odisha today, You will get the answer if Naveen Patnaik is a good CM or not?
How many industries were there before 10 years?
How many good institutes were there?
What was the percapita income?
How much hour powercut was there ?( I remember every day there were 1hr powercut when i was in school(1996))
Now he is taking a lot of initiatives to get industries. Central institutes like iiits and iits have started. He has made agreements with Vedanta groups to get a worldclass University. But these hopeless politicians never allow progress.
Oh my dear odiya brothers and sisters please think big. You were the best once. You were ruling a great kingdom starting from Ganga to Godavari. Your forefathers have set examples for the world. Come up support these developments and again you show the world that we are not down. We jst slept for few years we have woke up. Now again we will be the world leader.

Dear Sir,
I am great fan of yours. Only thing as a Oriya boy, I do is to keep track of good work of our beloved chief minister, what he does for the state and for the Oriya people, and appreciate and be happy myself. This is because I am out of Orissa for a long time and moved far and wide, achieved my livelyhood working outside Orissa. Now looking back, I am really happy the way things are taking shape back at Orissa. Yes, there are miles to go, but it will not be too far, if the state is ruled by the able and strong clean, uncorrupt leadership of Mr Naveen Pattnaik. I used to be a great admirer of his father Late Mr Biju Pattnaik. I have in my small little way always wanted to mobilise support for Mr Naveen Pattnaik through the web media. I am very happy with his election performance this time, I am not surprised at all. I am happy to see our Oriya basi to choose the right candidate this time by giving full support to him and his party folks. Mr Naveen Pattnaik has helped to clean up the state from corrupt politicians. I sincerely pray God to make his party very strong in the state and extend HIS great support to him and his party to achieve all the good work / projects that he wants to pursue for the state’s development. I wish him all the success this time. I only wish that he can manage to get the centre’s necessary support what is badly required for the state’s development.
Mr Naveen Pattnaik made Oriya’s everywhere proud.

Let’s not make some body an idol for nothing. I have no specific liking for Naveen Patnaik. Rather I have some odd impressions against him. A chief minister not knowing the language of the people is not a good sign for democracy. The second of his quality that I donot approve is that he has carefully destroyed a party-culture within BJD which implies his dictatorial design. But, these apart, I praise this gentleman for his determination and positive mind for the state. Orissa – during his 9 year past tenure – has raised its name from the scandal-fame dens to many levels of good news.

U the writer of this article do not know him. i think u r a closer friend Of Mr. J.B Pattnaik. Not a single oriya brother will support him. Naveen ji does not know oriya language. But he can feel every oriya’s. Please stop writing this type of stupid article about him. His place is not orissa but every oriya’s heart. Please dear don’t tell much about him as he is our respected Chief Minister. We salute him by heart….
Thanks

He is a man who make us proud . Speaking oriya is not that important as understand what exactly a common middleclass oriya person thinks, what their expectation from the state they have.He is a man who understand this and that is more than speaking oriya. What the corroupt CM did before Naveen ji.Who well know how to cheat, how to divert youth power, how to gate vote without work by using there mother toung oriya and still they continue on that.these are the people never see if the common man grow .We thanks to naveen ji who sacrifice and create a true oriya thought among all true oriya .We have to join him at any means to create orissa a great state.

Dear Odiya Friends,
We are proud to have a most popular CM of India.
No doubt about his efficiency …as a CM,
But some of our friends writing odds against him! might be due to their over expectation from fim!
any way without any strong political representative from Odisha (national level leaders at center) his achievement are remarkable! But we all Odiya brothers and sisters have to work harder to achieve our common goal that is to give Odisha a highlighted place in global map! Lets take an Oath in the name of lord Jagannath to make Odisha a happy, progressive, corruption and communal violence free, knowledge driven and leader in all sphere state !
No doubt we have acute poverty as our major constrain for self development but we have to keep our struggle going with strong determination and metal courage. If we all can excel in what ever we are doing presently then only in long run the fate of our state will transform for sure. Please do not expect it from a one man to make the state number one!We all have to give our idea and feed backs to govt. administration to make it more efficient as well as to cope-rate with govt’s. developmental plans ..so POSCO like situation can be avoided.
Like you all guys I have high expectation from my CM! Regarding Odiya skill of our CM ….I do not think its a measure issue. These things are political …,as long as a CM is doing good for the state, he is a true patriot! Knowing good English is not bad!! ha ha..so chill!
In my opinion Mr. CM has to focus more on health care, economy, education and agriculture!
Lets expect and give him best wishes to take Odisha’s index to a new high!!
Wish you all the best Mr. CM.
Best Regards
