Why Brand Lalu so popular with NRIs?

Lalu yadav could not attend three day Pravasi celebrations in New Delhi as he had to go to Assam where the ULFA militants have gun down 57 Biharis working as labourer.
This was a much more important thing in his diary than the celebrations and moreover he hadn’t confirmed his availability. But whatever the situation the NRIs as well as students and professors from top institues in India. Most of the NRIS who have come from places like USA, France Britain wanted to see him and hear him speak about the challenges he faced with Indian Railways and how he changed this to profit making company. We would like to know from our readers why the brand Lalu so famous and is it good or bad for the country. To help you’ss some of the views of the NRIs are as follows :

B Bhuta, who has come all the way from USA, the absence of the former Bihar CM was much felt: “I was looking forward to hearing the Railways Minister speak. I am quite disappointed that he couldn’t make it,”

Menicka Guness from Mauritius, echoing Bhuta’s sentiment, said she too was keen on hearing the minister speak. She particularly wanted to hear him share some interesting insights on the Railways turnaround story.

A K Dey, who has travelled from France, said he was eager to know how the husband-wife power duo in the form of Lalu-Rabri managed to keep a balance at home.

Is there any Humans left in Pakistani Army?

Events of Kargil war is still alive with most of Indians who still cannot forgive Pakistan for their act of cowardism. But events like this makes us more determined to hate them more than before. I would like to request all our readers to express their views whether Indian or not. If you are a Human being and would like to be treated as one please express your solidarity and views so that we can show the Pakistani Govt to take action against the guilty of this cruel event.

Lt. Saurabh Kalia of 4 JAT Regiment of the Indian Army laid down his life at the young age of 22 for the nation while guarding the frontiers at Kargil. His parents, indeed the Indian Army and nation itself, lost a dedicated, honest and brave son.He was the first officer to detect and inform about Pakistani intrusion. Pakistan captured him and his patrol party of 5 brave   men alive on May 15, 1999 from the Indian side of LOC. They were kept in captivity for three weeks and subjected to unprecedented  brutal torture, evident from their bodies handed over by Pakistan Army on June 9, 1999. The Pakistanis indulged in dastardly acts of inflicting burns on these Indian officers with cigarettes, piercing their ears with hot rods, removing their eyes before puncturing them and breaking most of the bones and teeth. They even chopped off various limbs and private organs of the Indian soldiers besides inflicting unimaginable physical and mental torture.

After 22 days of torture, the brave soldiers were ultimately shot dead. A detailed post-mortem report is with the Indian Army. Pakistan dared to humiliate India this way flouting all international norms. They proved the extent to which they can degrade humanity. However, the Indian soldiers did not break while undergoing all this unimaginable barbarism, which speaks volumes  of their patriotism, grit, determination, tenacity and valour-something all of India should be  proud of.Sacrificing oneself for the nation is an honour every soldier would be proud of, but no parent, army or nation can accept what happened to these brave sons of India. I am afraid every parent may think twice to send their child in the armed forces if we all fall short of our duty  in safeguarding the PRISONERS OF WAR AND LET THEM MEET THE FATE OF LT.SAURABH KALIA.
It may also send a demoralising signal to the army personnel fighting for the Nation that our POWs in Pak cannot be taken care of. It is a matter of shame and disgust that most of
Indian Human Rights Organisations by and large, showed apathy in this matter.

Through this humble submission, may I appeal to all the civilized people irrespective of colour, caste, region, religion and political lineage to stir their conscience and rise to take this as a NATIONAL ISSUE !!! International Human Rights Organizations must be approached to expose and pressure Pakistan to identify, book and punish all those who perpetrated this heinous crime to our men in uniform. If Pakistan is allowed to go unpunished in this case, we can only imagine the consequences. Below is the list of 5 other soldiers who preferred to die for the country rather than open their mouths in front of enemy -

JAI HIND ….Victory to India  !!

Is Bihar Govt. going MNC route?

Bihar CM Nitish Kumar has given his nod for 5 days working for all Govt. offices in Bihar. Instead of working from Monday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm they will now work from Monday to Friday 9.30am to 6.00pm. This is a great idea and if it really works than we will see a new dimension of all Govt offices. I think it will work provided the Govt. servants really take positives out of it and work really hard to achieve CM’s goal.

The Govt has also planned to reduce the CL as the number of days they are working is also reduced there by the Govt. can get more work from their employees. In paper it is a brillian idea and everyone should work for its success. This system has worked really well for all MNC and software companies in India. These companies are nowadays the back bone of oue ever growing economy so lets hope the Govt firms also help to make India more strong and successful.

The only thing which worries me is Bihar is considered to be a state with very poor literacy rate and yet two of their leaders Lalu Yadav and Nitish Kumar have come out with ideas which is really admirable. I really want all the States in India to think in similar way and develop their own states so that ultimately it will make India a very sucessful and developed country in the World. After Lalu Yadav revamped the Indian Railways it is now Nitish who is trying to revamp the backward state of Bihar and bring back her past glory. Best of luck to Nitish and the people of Bihar.

Is Mamta right to go on strike against TATA?

Finally Mamta Banerjee broke her fast after she recieved a letter from President and PM requesting her to break her fast and they will try to solve this issue asap. But I would like to know from our readers whether they are in favour of the strike or would consider this strike as yet another political stunt. The worst thing to note is the CPI and CPM who are supporting TATA for this project are the same people who opposed TATA to instal a steel plant in Orissa’s Ganjam district. I think all this support and opposing of big projects are down to political parties to reap benefit for themselves and their party.

I really do not believe that they are in any way concerned for the people of the State. They only see their own benefit if they recioeve their cut to the share than they keep quiet and see positives in a project and if not they just oppose it to make sure that no one gets any benefit. We the people of India are taken for a ride earlier the Mughals than the BRitish and now these white collar politicians.

I wish Mamta recovers soon and show us the real reason for her strike and if that is correct we are with her. Everyone wants the country to develop and grow as much as it can but at the same time we cannot stamp on someone’s throat to grow. We want the poor farmers to get their real worth for their land and proper job. We would request  TATA to take care that the local people and do development work in and around that area and set an example for their major companies who wants to do similar type of projects. I would request all the viewers to share their views on a sua a serious topic.

Does God belong to Upper Caste?

It was really very sad to hear that some upper caste people do not allow Dalits to entre temple for Darshan. I feel really ashamed to say that it happened in my state Orissa. The Dalits were so annoyed that one fine day they foricbly entered the temple. Now we see that the upper caste people have done some special puja to purify the temple and have again restricted for any further entry of Dalits. The Govt has not done much to solve this issue becuase of political dificulties no political party want to solve this problem. I am a brahmin by birth but I would not have any problme if I am with a Dalit in the temple for darshan. God created human being and we created caste and religion everyone wants to be close to God to thank him for creating us and giving us such a beautiful world. But the same people fight among themselves to reach God in the name of religion and caste. I really do not believe anyone has right to stop another person from praying the Almighty God.  Lord Jagarnath God of the World always believed everyone was equal He infact liked poor and needy his main desciple was even muslim so if God do not have any objection who are we to bar anyone to enter the temple.

The Dalits are now so disgusted with the Govt and politicians that they are planning to embrace another religion like Buddhism. Now I call all the Hindu and Hindu fundamentalist to give a justified reason as why they should not leave Hinduism when they are not allowed to pray like proper Hindus. Does God belong to upper caste only?

Are NRIs doing enough for Motherland?

For any country to have their citizens abroad means influx of foriegn currency thus a good econmy for the citizens of the country. India is one of the country with a vast population abroad and these people are making good money and name for themselves. But are these NRIs doing enough for the motherland the country which gave them the basic needs like food cloth shelter and the most important thing is education because of which they have found a job abroad. India is growing fast and is fighting really hard to become a develpoed country but could not progress fast without the help of these NRIs. I would like all the NRIs to help Mother India to grow and to help each of their fellow citizens to have a better life. They have earned a lot and now it is their turn to give something back to the country, city village or society which had given them so much love. Our NRIs are undoubtedly doing their bit to help the country in her growth but we would like them to do something for the poor and most importantly in the villages which does not get the real money send my these NRIs. Most of the development work is done in cities and major towns to attract foriegn investment and thus it gets more and more developed and the villages are left deserted and undeveloped. I know India is growing people are getting richer and having a better life but to be honest this development is not uniform infact some of the poor people have become more poor. Any Govt can do certain thing and  especially in India where the politicians are so corrupt cannot expect miracles from them. Thus would request all our NRIs to invest more in villages the villagers need help not charity give them job oppurtunity and that way you are really helping. We Indians are famous for hard work and we still believe in that but with NRIs help we can put some smart thinking to do better job and prosper with our efforts. I would request all our readers to spread this concern to all concerned citizens and do as much they can for a beautiful India.  Jai Hind

Big Boss – Hit ya Miss?

Big Boss – The Indian version of a famous reality TV show Big Brother which is aired in the UK every year sounds an entertaining watch for Indian television viewers. This will be first of its kind where Indian audience get to see their celebrities live on tv without any drama or filmi background. Do you feel such reality shows will give a run for their money to their English counterpart or do you think they will be scrutinized and scanned by our censor board and there will be hardly any masala for indian audience???

Who is the real Don? SRK or Amitabh?

The new Don is suave, stylish and cool..He has that SRK effect that works magic on screen. SRK makes Don seem like James Bond but in a negative role. However, does he match with the charisma, personality and penache that Amitabh used to exude in the original Don? Do you think SRK has done enough to match the dashing persona of Don of the 1978?
