Congress which lost the last election in Madhya Pradesh both in state and national level has found some lost ground with the exit of Uma Bharati from BJP. Congress is trying to win some lost ground in 2008 election and would try to regain the state from BJP. All they need is a good leader to guide them to the correct path and should take advantage of the Uma Bharati situation. Remarkably for the first time in Congress history the veternas in MP politics are opting out from he top post. Digvijay Singh and Arjun Singh have not shown interest and are giving reason to opt out from this top post. This is good for congress and the state as some new young leader could get the chance and if they win the election might guide the state to new hights in development, modern education, infrastructure and create employment chance for the youth of the state. The two strong contenders for this post are union minister Suresh Pachouri and two time Mp Jyotiraditya Scindia son of former stalwart Madhav rao Scindia. Time will only tell whether cong can regain the lost territory in MP but the new move for young leaders is a welcome sign for all parties across India.
