Will India win the World Cup?

India the champions of 1983 are still waiting to win another one and hopefully this will be the cup and year when we can win our second World Cup. We really wish and hope that the team does well and make us proud in the world. Kapil’s men won us the world cup when they were not expected to win and since than we have come so close yet so far to win another for another two decades. Dravid has a great team and all the stats and figure will show we are one of the favourites to win the cup this time. But what I really do not understand we Indians take this game so seriously that we put undue pressure on the team. One thing which I do not like is the unnecessary things we do like performing yagnas and puja in church, masjid and temples. I would rather like those enthusiastic youths to do some real social work and does some charity work for the poor and needy. They should help each other and make sure India shows to the other World that her citizens are real human beings who love and care about other fellow citizens.

I would really like to wish India to win the cup but with the start they have against Bangladesh it does not look good. Let’s not lose hope and think that it was a minor bleep and we will learn from our mistake and get our acts together. The team should make a serious effort and regroup themselves so that they can win the rest of their matches. We are still with the team and would be with them through thick and thin and wish them all the success.

Come on India show the entire world how good you are and why we are so proud of you’ll.

Cong and TDP worried of Horse-Trading in AP

Scores of newly-elected Telugu Desam Party ZPTC members sat huddled in the various rooms of NTR Bhavan, the party headquarters on Thursday. The horse-trading attempts and preventions by the Congress and the TDP started on Thursday, a day after the panchayat raj elections were declared. “Both parties are offering as much as Rs 1 crore for the member to switch loyalties,” said a TDP leader involved in protecting party members and luring the Congress ones.

ZPTC members from Anantapur, Warangal and Karimnagar were ‘stationed’ at the NTR Bhavan. In Anantapur, the TDP bagged 33 of the 63 seats while the Congress secured 30.If the Congress buys over three of the TDP members, it can win the ZP chairman’s post. In Karimnagar, the Congress got 22 of the 57 seats while its allies, TRS and CPI, have secured six and one seat respectively. The Congress is attempting to win over few of the 25 TDP members and corner the ZP chairman’s post. In Warangal, the Congress and TDP are tied with 23 seats a piece, while TRS has three and CPM one.

Similarly, despite the TDP winning 17 of the 33 seats in Ranga Reddy, the Congress, which secured 15 seats, is attempting to win over some TDP members and bag the now-prestigious ZP post. And the members from Ranga Reddy, who were flown to Bangalore, are also to be shifted to an undisclosed destination as the TDP apprehends that chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy’s son Jaganmohan Reddy, who is based in Bangalore, might attempt to lure the TDP members.

Another district where the Congress is said to be desperately seeking TDP members is Khammam. To avoid possible switch over, the TDP on Thursday shifted its ZPTC members to a farm house in Jalderpalli in Khammam, where senior district leaders of TDP and CPM are said to be keeping a close watch on them. The Congress too, is shifting its flock from one place to another to prevent poaching and horse-trading by the TDP. Some are on pilgrimage to places like Shirdi while others have been sent to places like Goa and Mumbai.Interestingly, the Congress, while claiming that they would capture all the ZP chairman posts, denies that it was holding camp meetings though ministers personally supervised the operations. While major irrigation minister P Lakshmaiah flagged off the bus to Shirdi packed with the ZPTC members from Warangal, sports minister M Satyanarayana Rao accompanied the Karimnagar ZPTC members to Hyderabad.

Why Naidu and Krishna Punished By People

Two Great Chief Ministers from neighbouring states were punished at the same time for the same fault and that is modernising their states respectively. The former Chandrababu Naidu known for his modern thinking and development was punished in the last assembly poll. He was uprooted in the assembly and the national election and still people find hard to believe that TDP lost so heavily to congress. Many experts give various reasons for his defeat but all I can think was he had left third front and made a coalition with BJP and secondly which could be a major factor was though his state is a agricultural belt still he did not do much for the farmers or the poor villager. rather he concentrated more on developing urban area and made Hyderabad the cyber city. The poor were commiting suicide due to poor crop and struggling with poverty. This is where Sonia Gandhi and the state congress took advantage and made people believe they would do much more for the poor and farmers. On the other hand Congress had to suffer with their own medicene opposition took a leaf from neighbouring congress plan and applied against them and it worked in Karanataka as well. Though Congress did not lose the same way as TDP but wasn't sufficient enough to rule on its own. They had to tie up with Deve Gowda's party. This from start did not look good and very soon Deve Gowda's son tied up with BJP and toppled the Govt. This is what happens when leaders think they can run the country their way forgeting the basic need of the real mass.
