Jo and Shilpa relax after escaping nomination

Shilpa Shetty is being “bullied” by her fellow housemates – Danielle, Jo and Jade inside the Big Brother house as told by Ian in the diary room last night. Apparantely, it all started at the lunch hour when the housemates were discussing how long they should be cooking the chicken for and all agreed upon 2 hours time. However, Shilpa believed 2 hours to cook chicken was far too long and kept checking the oven every two minutes. This irritated Danielle, Jo and Jade who clearly didn’t approve of Shilpa regarding her opinion on the cooking time for chicken. That’s where they started bitching about her and it became even worse when the chicken finally was taken to the dining table in an uncooked state – thanks to Shilpa!! However, Danielle started passing controversial statements not just about Shilpa but Indians in general saying “I think in India people eat with their hands…don’t know if its India or China”. Apparantely, the TV Offcom regulators have recieved nearly 200 complaint emails regarding Shilpa being bullied without any reason in the house.

Shilpa Shetty – Fake Personality inside the house.

Shilpa has some face bleach on

Shilpa Shetty has been criticised as being too “fake” in the Big Brother house by her housemates..Jade who is a former Big Brother contestant had a heated arguement with Shilpa today regarding her fake personality inside the house…Shilpa came up with an answer to this saying that she was just playing the game within the rules and there was a life outside the house as well! Do our readers agree that Shilpa is doing the right thing by playing a game inside the Big Brother house or do you think she should be more honest and real while dealing with her house mates inside the house??

Guru – Rags to Richies..Worth watching? You decide!

Abhishek Bachchan starring Mani Ratnam’s Guru is releasing all over India today.  In a small village of Idhar in Gujarat, a young man dreams of making it big one day. His father a headmaster of the village school tells him that dreams never come true. But this young lad did dream. As he grew up, so did his dreams. He loved Idar. It was quiet, peaceful, lazy and green. But he knew that his destiny was beyond this village…Set in the picturesque beauty of the 1958, Bombay, this young man comes to the city of fortune with only two shirts, a wife, a brother-in-law and Rs.15,000 to start a business.

But all doors were shut for a newcomer. Indian business and trade were run by a handful of the rich and the privileged. Only they were given the licenses. They had the quotas and they controlled all government trade.

It was an exclusive club where it was impossible for an ordinary middle class newcomer to enter, let alone succeed.

He had to kick the doors open or cajole them to open. He did both and would not take no for an answer. And that’s because he never knew the word ‘no’.

Despite all barriers, he started his own company called Shakti Trading in a 350 sq feet room, with one telephone, one table and three chairs.

Forty years on, Shakti Corporation became the first Indian company to enter the Forbes top 500 list. People asked him how this happened and he said think big, think ahead and think fast.

Another thought-provoking film from the master of Indian cinema, Mani Ratnam.

Guru is a movie in which a poor villager goes from rags to riches due to his sheer determination and personal drive, despite being faced with many business barriers.

Releasing by Adlabs in the UK cinemas, this meaningful film is said to release in 2007.

It sees the much talked about Bollywood couple, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai in stella roles.

Why Brand Lalu so popular with NRIs?

Lalu yadav could not attend three day Pravasi celebrations in New Delhi as he had to go to Assam where the ULFA militants have gun down 57 Biharis working as labourer.
This was a much more important thing in his diary than the celebrations and moreover he hadn’t confirmed his availability. But whatever the situation the NRIs as well as students and professors from top institues in India. Most of the NRIS who have come from places like USA, France Britain wanted to see him and hear him speak about the challenges he faced with Indian Railways and how he changed this to profit making company. We would like to know from our readers why the brand Lalu so famous and is it good or bad for the country. To help you’ss some of the views of the NRIs are as follows :

B Bhuta, who has come all the way from USA, the absence of the former Bihar CM was much felt: “I was looking forward to hearing the Railways Minister speak. I am quite disappointed that he couldn’t make it,”

Menicka Guness from Mauritius, echoing Bhuta’s sentiment, said she too was keen on hearing the minister speak. She particularly wanted to hear him share some interesting insights on the Railways turnaround story.

A K Dey, who has travelled from France, said he was eager to know how the husband-wife power duo in the form of Lalu-Rabri managed to keep a balance at home.

Is there any Humans left in Pakistani Army?

Events of Kargil war is still alive with most of Indians who still cannot forgive Pakistan for their act of cowardism. But events like this makes us more determined to hate them more than before. I would like to request all our readers to express their views whether Indian or not. If you are a Human being and would like to be treated as one please express your solidarity and views so that we can show the Pakistani Govt to take action against the guilty of this cruel event.

Lt. Saurabh Kalia of 4 JAT Regiment of the Indian Army laid down his life at the young age of 22 for the nation while guarding the frontiers at Kargil. His parents, indeed the Indian Army and nation itself, lost a dedicated, honest and brave son.He was the first officer to detect and inform about Pakistani intrusion. Pakistan captured him and his patrol party of 5 brave   men alive on May 15, 1999 from the Indian side of LOC. They were kept in captivity for three weeks and subjected to unprecedented  brutal torture, evident from their bodies handed over by Pakistan Army on June 9, 1999. The Pakistanis indulged in dastardly acts of inflicting burns on these Indian officers with cigarettes, piercing their ears with hot rods, removing their eyes before puncturing them and breaking most of the bones and teeth. They even chopped off various limbs and private organs of the Indian soldiers besides inflicting unimaginable physical and mental torture.

After 22 days of torture, the brave soldiers were ultimately shot dead. A detailed post-mortem report is with the Indian Army. Pakistan dared to humiliate India this way flouting all international norms. They proved the extent to which they can degrade humanity. However, the Indian soldiers did not break while undergoing all this unimaginable barbarism, which speaks volumes  of their patriotism, grit, determination, tenacity and valour-something all of India should be  proud of.Sacrificing oneself for the nation is an honour every soldier would be proud of, but no parent, army or nation can accept what happened to these brave sons of India. I am afraid every parent may think twice to send their child in the armed forces if we all fall short of our duty  in safeguarding the PRISONERS OF WAR AND LET THEM MEET THE FATE OF LT.SAURABH KALIA.
It may also send a demoralising signal to the army personnel fighting for the Nation that our POWs in Pak cannot be taken care of. It is a matter of shame and disgust that most of
Indian Human Rights Organisations by and large, showed apathy in this matter.

Through this humble submission, may I appeal to all the civilized people irrespective of colour, caste, region, religion and political lineage to stir their conscience and rise to take this as a NATIONAL ISSUE !!! International Human Rights Organizations must be approached to expose and pressure Pakistan to identify, book and punish all those who perpetrated this heinous crime to our men in uniform. If Pakistan is allowed to go unpunished in this case, we can only imagine the consequences. Below is the list of 5 other soldiers who preferred to die for the country rather than open their mouths in front of enemy –

Is Bihar Govt. going MNC route?

Bihar CM Nitish Kumar has given his nod for 5 days working for all Govt. offices in Bihar. Instead of working from Monday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm they will now work from Monday to Friday 9.30am to 6.00pm. This is a great idea and if it really works than we will see a new dimension of all Govt offices. I think it will work provided the Govt. servants really take positives out of it and work really hard to achieve CM’s goal.

The Govt has also planned to reduce the CL as the number of days they are working is also reduced there by the Govt. can get more work from their employees. In paper it is a brillian idea and everyone should work for its success. This system has worked really well for all MNC and software companies in India. These companies are nowadays the back bone of oue ever growing economy so lets hope the Govt firms also help to make India more strong and successful.

The only thing which worries me is Bihar is considered to be a state with very poor literacy rate and yet two of their leaders Lalu Yadav and Nitish Kumar have come out with ideas which is really admirable. I really want all the States in India to think in similar way and develop their own states so that ultimately it will make India a very sucessful and developed country in the World. After Lalu Yadav revamped the Indian Railways it is now Nitish who is trying to revamp the backward state of Bihar and bring back her past glory. Best of luck to Nitish and the people of Bihar.
